Week

I related to some of this build what you want especially with Dell. I have purchased two different computers by ordering what I wanted. (Not that I really know that much
about computers). I like making my specifics the way I wanted. Of course I know I probably paid for it also. I am not so sure about a pair of shoes, but I thought it was interesting to be able to do it. It is kind of cool how they have grown through the years.
I am truly surprised about all the different jobs that a person could choose from that has to do with any type of marketing.
Have a great week. Hope I do better on my quiz next time than I did this week.

Spring Break

Well mid term is over and now it is spring break. But really we have some assignments to work on at some point. Maybe this week I will get it done. I will enjoy my week.

Week 8

I am amazed at how much has to go into starting something new for a company. As we can tell by the markets, a lot of companies do something right. I never realized how in depth it gets to market a new product, and what we as consumers are classified as a category of adopters. I think it is interesting how much goes into making different kinds of strange candy (that sells).
Now off to study for mid term, scary a lot of information.

Week 7

I thought the presentations on the worm poop and how it came to be was interesting. I have used the product before, I just didn't know the scoop on it. Who would have thought.
I am amazed at all that goes into marketing etc. I guess this is why we are in here to learn. There are a lot of different processes that has to go on to keep a business in business. It is interesting about the cobranding that goes on. I never really thought about that, just looking at my computer what has gone on there with Dell, Intel, Windows. I would like to be in a room that is discussing when they are going to combine things together to make new thing in business, just to see how someone pitches the idea. I guess they would all want to sell their products,so maybe it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Interesting for me.

Week 6

Last night was fun. I like it when it is light some of the time in class. It makes us all seem like real people. I know when there are a lot of students, and we are satellite we can get lost in there. I enjoy being able to use twitter during class. We are learning how to use these different types of networking devices, which can help us in our future. Oh and Red Lobster has my vote, wish I could get there more often. Maybe they should make it more available to some of us people who don't live close to one. I know I would get there once in a while if it was closer. Happy reading everyone.
Companies do need to stay on top of their game if they want to stay in business. There certainly is a lot more to being in business than I ever knew before.

Week 5

I am surprised at all the different things that are used to determine how, where, and what to do to try to promote selling of any item. I guess that is why we are learning. I always companies would try to do whatever they could to sell their products, I just really wasn't aware of the detail that is involved in figuring out what is best for selling any product or service to their prospective buyers.

Week 4

I like having different presentations every week. As much as I am glad mine is over whew! I think it is a good experience for everyone. What a good way for us to learn the different objectives in this class. For those of us who wouldn't have tried blogging or even knew there was such a thing as Linkedin, and we get step by step instructions to learn.
I would like to try out Ethel's chocolate boutique. I might only do it once, but it would be kind of fun to go in, relax and savor all the tastes. It is interesting how everything is looked at in the marketing aspect. :)
